While You're Away is a pet sitting service, located in Asheville, NC, that allows you to feel comfortable about your pets’ well being, while you’re traveling or working long hours - your pets are content at home, with loving and professional caregivers coming to feed them, play with them, take them for walks and sometimes even napping with them! We treat your pets with as much love and care as we do our own pets. It’s a calling for us…not a job.

Leaving your pets is never easy, but knowing that they are in their familiar surroundings, at home, being taken care of by a professional pet sitter, who is mature, reliable and consistent, allows you to relax and not worry - you can now really focus on your work or enjoy your vacation - carefree!  

I established While You’re Away House & Pet Sitting Service in 2006.  I was born into a dog show family and have been caring for pets all of my life, for friends and family. I have raised and showed Italian Greyhounds for many years. As a kid, I also raised and showed Rex Rabbits. I love what I do and would love to take care of your pets While You’re Away….
